After 20 years of practicing criminal, traffic, DUI and juvenile law, Susan Kaufman has gained a reputation as an aggressive criminal defense attorney. She is dedicated to providing the best possible defense to her clients.
Susan is an native of Kansas City, and went to college at the University of Iowa, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She returned to Kansas City where she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri in 1982.
Following her law school graduation, Susan Kaufman clerked for Denver District Court Judge John McMullen, dealing only in criminal cases. Her experience in criminal law continued with her work with the Colorado State Public Defender's Office.

Since leaving the Public Defender's office, Susan Kaufman has handled hundreds of cases involving every crime from traffic cases, like DUIs and speeding tickets, and cases involving simple misdemeanors to serious felonies.
Susan Kaufman has also won approval and admiration from her peers in the criminal defense community. She has a BV rating with Martindale-Hubbell.
Susan Kaufman is located in Denver, Colorado. We represent clients in the area of Criminal Defense primarily in Arapahoe and Douglas County. We also serve clients throughout Colorado.
